The SUNREF program funded by AFD in Côte d'Ivoire aims to: • favor the emergence of a green finance offer from the two partner banks SGB CI and NSIA,within which credit lines are opened • to support private companies in defining renewable energy, energy efficiency and environmental protection projects; • promote the emergence of a national context conducive to the development of renewable energies (RE),energy efficiency (EE) and environmentally virtuous projects The project management of the assistance was entrusted to CGE CI, Ivorian employers' organization. The IED-BURGEAP Group is responsible for implementing the following activities : 1. Communication and awareness aroundthe SUNREF program and green finance; 2. Creation of a portfolio of projects on renewable energies and mature and bankable energy efficiency; 3. Support project leaders in the constitution of their requests for financing from banks; 4. Assess the compliance of projects with regard to sunref funding eligibility criteria; 5. Set up and implement capacity and skills building program for CGE CI and partner banks. |
