Description :
Strengthening access to electricity for sustainable socio-economic development in rural areas through:
1. the improvement of access to electricity in RUMPI area: electrification of 100 localities gathering more than 20 000 rural households
2. capacity building of energy sector SMEs: emergence of at least 20 Cameroonian private operators for electric equipments supply and installation, remote electric systems maintenance and management
3. the improvement of socio-economic impact of rural electrification : improvement of domestic standard of living for more than 10 000 rural households ; access to more than 1000 socio-educational and health infrastructures benefiting from a modern energy service for more than 20 000 rural households ; more than 1000 opportunities for income generating activities to benefit from a modern energy service for more than 20 000 rural households
4. the improvement of rural electrification governance : capacity building of the 3 main institutional actors of electricity sector (MINEE, ARSEL, AER).
