The SUNREF programme aims to: (i) foster the emergence of a green finance offer from local banks; (ii) support private companies in setting up renewable energy, energy efficiency and environmental protection projects; (iii) while also promoting the emergence of a context conducive to the development of the targeted sectors (Renewable Energy, EE, environment). Credit lines are set up in the partner banks, and the project management of the assistance has been entrusted to SOLIDIS. The Groupement BURGEAP-IED-GRET is responsible for implementing the following activities : i) Communication and awareness-raising in Madagascar around SUNREF and green finance ; ii) Development of mature and bankable EE and ENR project portfolios; iii) Support to project holders to submit their requests for financing to banks; iv) Assess the compliance of projects with the criteria of the SUNREF credit line; v) Set up and implement a capacity building programme for SOLIDIS and partner banks. |
