Description :
This study aims at developing the Energy Policy Document in Central Africa for 2035 and the Master Plan for the generation and transmission of electricity by 2025 and 2035 for CAEMU (CEMAC) and DRC.
The Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) is part of the study area given its strong hydroelectric potential and its capacity to export electricity to the neighboring countries members of the CEMAC.
Combining both the overall strategic thinking (the Policy Document) and the action (the Master Plan), the approach is meant to be operational, with the ambition for the CEMAC countries to move towards the implementation of the projects retained in the Action Plan that will accompany the Policy Document and the Master Plan.
