Description :
This study was connected to two events :
1. The venue of the exhibition France - India 2000 organized by CFME-ACTIM from 6 to 10 December 1999 in New Delhi, exhibition to which the Ademe had an " Energy - Environment " stand
2. Following of the Conferences of Parties in Buenos Aires in December 1998 and the deepening of the project of " Clean Development Mechanism " (MDP).

Description of the Actual Services Provided In order to bring a targeted approach of the Indian market to enterprises of the sector Energy - Environment, Ademe has commissioned IED to carry out :
* The analysis of carrier sectors in terms of the energy and environment market in India,
* The analysis of the French manufacturers demand to approach the Indian market,
* Information to French enterprises on their markets in India,
* Placement in common of French manufacturers and Indian manufacturers demands; finding of partners,
* Organization of meeting between future commercial partners.
During a first round table, an Indian market presentation has been made, as well as a first analysis of the questionnaires distributed to the French enterprises.
Besides this market approach - partners, and in the context of the study, the opportunity of contacts with Indian public authorities, allowed to deepen the debate on the MDP and to make recommendations on projects that would be considered interesting by Indian authorities, or the less their conditions of acceptability in a context of MDP.
This action is led in partnership with an Indian consultant.
