Description :
The project falls within the European Commission SAVE program framework, meant to orientate the European Union policy in term of Energy Saves. The project aims the heating systems in the residential sector and includes the following activities :
* Heating market description and analysis in the European Union, in term of consumption by kind of energy and technological sector.
* Elaboration of a prediction model of the energy demand linked to the heating systems by the year 2020.
* Description of the different technologies whose dissemination could allows to reduce the energy consumption as well as the energy saving potential quantification.
* The analysis of the barriers that curb the penetration of these technologies.
* The definition of political measures that could allow the lifting of the barriers : regulatory measures, introduction of labels, promotion actions and information spread, tariff policies, etc.
