Description :
The technical feasibility study of the MHPP on a river of the Isère borough focuses on a new project with strong geological and geotechnical constraints, and determines :
- the site design,
- optimisation of the electromechanical equipments,
- the assessment of the production potential in average, dry, and wet years
- the investment costing
- the financial and economic analysis

The project is characterised by (i) an unstable geological environment (slates) on the river banks, which in turns shows in the high slate alluvia density; (ii) by a high instability of the river banks translating into complicated installation of the MHPP site.

Description of the Actual Services Provided The study contains :
- explanation the conditions for technical MHPP realisation,
- computation of its economic and financial value (internal rate of return of the project),
- computation of the shareholder value of the investment (return on equity).
- sensitivity study based on a risks analysis of hydrology, investment overruns, tax burden negotiations, residual value.

Following on the technical study and the results of the economic and financial analysis, a works schedule was established, setting up a date for all the milestone activities to be achieved until commissioning, including engineering phase, environmental impact assessments, authorisations to be secured, as well as construction activities.
