Description :
The commune of Saint-Julien-Montdenis, in the department of Savoy, which ensures the distribution of its electricity, wished to make a study aiming at evaluating the possibilities of development of the small hydroelectricity on the torrents and the small brooks of its territory.
Structured around a cartographic pre-identification of the rivers, and after examining of the weir and power house sites, a survey and a study of prediagnosis where the principal stakes and aspects of the project are approached
   ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Description of the Actual Services Provided The study established:
- 6 diagrams of installation of the principal brook Saint-Julien, gathered two to two around two weir sites and two sites of production,•
- proposals of equipment and a dimensioning obtained at the end of a reflection on the mode and the hydrological operation of the brook, of an analysis of its environment, and by correlation with close installations,•
- Establishment according to several assumptions of the electric productions discounted, and their impact on the effect of greenhouse,•
- The evaluation of the corresponding investments, accompanied by an short economic analysis.
This study of prediagnosis makes it possible to treat on a hierarchical basis the solutions of equipment for the commune, by specifying some the constraints and the principal technical solutions, by describing the works there and by specifying some the costs.
It must allow the later engagement of a technical feasibility study whose conclusions will fall under a thought of more total installation of the territory of the “Communauté de Communes du Pays de Maurienne”.
