Description of the Actual Services Provided The DISPAGRI company is specialised in distribution of phytosanitary and chemical products used for agriculture. The CHAPONNAY site is the headquarters of the company and is also an important distribution hub.

The site consists of 3 warehouses of respectively 3700 m², 7900 m² and 2300 m². It also feature 1000 m² of offices.

DISPAGRI uses exclusively electricity, its annual consumption is 700°000 kWh with a total cost of 50°800€. Since 2002, a steady increase in consumption can be noticed.

The mission will be carried out by IED, whose objective is to provide the owner of the site with figures and orientations which will help him find the best options.

The study features three parts : in-depth field visit of the site, measurements, analysis of the current situation and suggestion of energy efficiency projects.

Analysis of energy consumptions reveals that heating is the main contributor to total consumption, not far from lighting of the main storage building. It also shows that increase in consumption is not a direct consequence of the climate, other aspects have also an influence such as the level of comfort expected by users, heating of empty offices, bad practice and poor insulation (proved by infrared scanning).

IED suggests an improvement plan focusing on:
- Improvement of thermal insulation of buildings
- Renovation of heating system: either by putting up to date the existing system or by installing a new one based on biomass (wood)
- Sensitization of employees
