Description :
« Le Mercure » is a modern building, built in the 50’s. It had been built initially for industrial purposes (workshop and offices).
It features a “20th century heritage” front. The windows mostly date back to the construction and are simple glazing, except in living areas where they have been replaced by PVC or aluminium windows with double glazing. Building walls are not insulated.
The energy audit aims at:
• Assessing the current situation
• Suggesting tehnical solutions for improvement of insulation of outer walls through 2 main scenarii:
o Replacement of front glazing with more efficient windows, insulation of outer walls, installation of solar masks with embedded PV modules.
o Creation of glazed front with forced circulation of air behind. The main advantage of this technology is that it preserves the outer look of the building.

Description of the Actual Services Provided The Dynamic Thermal simulation is realised thanks to the Pleiade-Comfie software. Expected results are:
• Technical evaluation of the 2 scenarii
• Evaluation of cost of works
• Assistance to the owner for decision making
