IED participated in April to a workshop on Rural Electrification in Mynamar

Several experts from Task 9 "Deployment of PV services for Regional Development" of Photovoltaic Power Systems Programme if the International Energy Agency (IEA -PVPS) - has been invited to participate to a worshop on Rural Electrification in Myanmar in April 2013, organized by ASEAN-RESP and the EUEI Partnership Dialogue Facility (EUEI PDF).

The main objective of the workshop was to jointly develop recommendations on how to develop an effective ans sustainable rural electrification strategy taking into account regional (ASEAN) and international best practices and lessons learnt. The technologies covered included micro hydropower,solar PV, biogas and biomass.
